Be careful, they are really 2 degrees and no customer service is worse than theirs

2degrees have been my number 1 go to for both my phone and broadband. I have been using 2degress since inception and they have been amazing and extremely helpful anytime I have needed an answer to a particular question or anything at all really. I trust 2degress and do not wish to change providers when I am always treated with respect, thoughtfulness and friendly staff.

Have just switched over to Skinny. Phone keeps dropping in and out of connection. Unreliable.

Will be contacting Support to get this sorted. If unresolved, I'll have to go to another gtelco as an unreliable phone connection is unacceptable

Moved my mobile to Kiwi Mobile because we have power with Kiwi Electric and I thought it is sensible to have both on one place.
What a disaster experience this was. I was more than 4hours on chat and didn't resolve to get it working. They let me down from the very beginning. I started 3 times to chat and ended up on point zero every time! So, I went back to 2degree and moved back to them and they are very helpful. The disaster didn't stop here as I got a text for moving my cell number and I replayed "Yes", so a confirmation text arrived saying I'm moved now. Just to find out (with the 2degree support) I was not moved. 2degree couldn't find a phone number to call and chat was not reacting. Now, I received a email saying "your mobile number is scheduled to be closed".
I'm very happy now not to have to deal with Kiwi Mobile and their unhelpful customer service. I lost minimum 1 full day and some business because this disaster.

What a mistake. Moved to kiwi. They use e SIMs . And the e SIM wouldn’t show you the signal strength bars. And no one could fix it. So decided to move to another provider but kiwi mobile wouldn’t release my number. Had to go to the ombudsman and finally got number released. However they still haven’t cancelled my account and I keep following up and they keep saying it’s in progress. Big mistake to move to kiwi.

Setup process was a complete nightmare. Multiple support techs not understanding simple questions, issues with website and tools, techs telling me to do stuff I'd already done. Multiple promises broken. Endless apologies with no action. Support that answers quickly is good, but if they lie to you and don't actually fix any problems, it's useless.

Actually pretty refreshing this company! Kiwi customer service team in Auckland was helpful setting up. Speed is amazing and the app is easy to change your usage per month. They are apparently using tech to shake up the industry so people get fairer prices overall. Service has been top so far so will see how it goes!

Cons
Aimed at people who use 5-100GB per month so if you are a very low data user it probably wouldn’t suit.

Worst support I’ve ever had (and I work in telco, I’ve seen it all). 2 days after submitting an urgent issue about provisioning my number from a different network and no response at all. Not even an acknowledgement from their live chat service. 0/5

Terrible customer support both over the phone and through online chat. Had to go into a store to get my billing issue resolved. Removal of prepay bonus features to try get you on a plan. Used to be decent when they were Vodaphone.
